The other day on a consultation call with a bride, she asked “how would you describe your style of filming?” The words that came to mind were observant and intentional. There are a lot of traditional moments built into a timeline. The first look, family portraits, speeches, cake cutting (to name a few). And while, yes, I’ll be capturing those, I don’t always have my eyes focused on the phone screen while the record button is on. Often times, I’m glancing around the room to see what else is organically unfolding. So that in a moments notice, I can pan my camera over to capture the in-between. Your bridesmaids giggling in the corner, the flower girl practicing her twirl down the aisle, grandpa taking a photo of you cutting your cake.
My goal as your wedding content creator is not only to preserve the memories you expect to look back on (first kiss, first dance, etc.). I want to give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the ones you didn’t even know happened. The ones you might’ve blacked out for in the midst of all the emotion. The videos that remind you how your day felt. All the raw footage, from my phone to yours, as soon as the next day.
… and what a privilege it is to do that. 🕊️
