It’s always recommended (by wedding planners and venues alike) to hire vendors that not only are a legal business but one that’s covered by insurance. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.

3. Do you have a contingency plan in place?

The last thing a couple expects is for a vendor to become sick or injured before their wedding and unable to follow through with their commitment. But the risk is always there. 4. How many hours do I *actually* need a content creator for?

Choosing how many hours to book a wedding content creator depends on what you value most. It might be the getting ready moments with your wedding party — or the actual party that happens after you say “I do”. My most popular package is six hours, which typically allows for 30 minutes of getting ready footage, the first look and/or ceremony highlights and a kick off to the reception (think first dance). However, if you want other dances or speeches captured, I recommend the 8-hour package. Additional coverage means more time for me to document the details and any special add-ons, like interviewing your bridesmaids/groomsmen/family members (which can be SUCH a cute video montage!)

5. What can I expect throughout the process?

Anyone can create content on your wedding day. Not everyone can stay in lockstep with your day-of media team, maintain clear communication, capture unique angles and create a captivating highlight video. But it goes beyond that. Your wedding content creator might take it one step further (hint: we do) to walk through a thought provoking questionnaire before you book, meet virtually or in-person to review final details and timeline, connect with a client’s day-of media team and over prepare for the day of (backup phone, chargers, ring light and gimbal are a must!).

Your wedding day will go by in the blink of an eye, and having someone there to capture its entirety means you get to unplug and take it all in.
